Legend of the KamiLah

All Legends are born from some truth. Over time, that truth becomes myth, but eventually... myths can be forgotten.
Thousands of years ago, before kingdoms rose and empires crumbled. Chaos reigned, and to bring balance and peace, a sacrifice had to be made.
The Egyptian god Amun created the five elemental spirits from love. One of the five elemental spirits would bless a worthy soul on their sixteenth birthday with elemental magic. Granting them the power to protect the balance of the world.
For centuries, the spirits watched humanity flourish. But where love creates, jealousy finds a way to destroy. Even the Five Elemental Spirits could not stop them alone. In order to bring balance back to the universe, Amun created the perfect soul. One who is Compassionate, Honorable, Ambitious, Courageous, and Strong. He gave the name 'KamiLah' to this perfect soul.
After the KamiLah defeated Seth's demons and evil spirits, she locked them away, making their existence turn into a legend. Before disappearing into the darkness, Seth swore an oath that echoed across eternity. "One day, I will return. And when I do, every soul will kneel before me." Amun answered with a promise of his own. Whenever the darkness of Seth returned... So would the KamiLah reincarnate.

Book One

Most people believe the Legend of the KamiLah is nothing more than an ancient myth. Jade Pamal never questioned it... and the legend was all but forgotten.
Today is her sixteenth birthday. In just a few hours, she will stand before a Dvasia Master and complete the Elementas Ceremony. It was a rite of passage for every child born.
If one of the Five Elemental Spirits chooses her, she will attend the prestigious Fennec School for Elementals, where her parents attended, and the Blessed learn to master their elemental abilities.
If no spirit blesses her ... She will live the rest of her life as a Natural. Noble, though considered Cursed by the Elemental Society.
Jade expects today to determine her future... but doesn't realize it will awaken her past.

Will Jade survive or succumb to social pressure? By looking into her past life, maybe she will discover how to live in the present.
